FAQs
Below are answers to my clients’ frequently asked questions. If there is something I’ve missed, please don’t hesitate to ask. For more information, get in touch. I look forward to meeting you soon
Where do I park?
We have parking on site, once you have booked your appointment, you will be sent all relevant information on how to access our private car park.

What shall I wear for my appointment?
Shorts are always best if we are working on lower body and for women a normal bra is easier than a sports bra as it just unclips from the back when you are laying on your front.

Will my sports massage be painful?
I am not looking to cause you any pain, discomfort may be felt in areas that are restricted or tight but we will constantly be communicating for your comfort and pain levels to be minimum

How often do I need to come?
You will not be told that you need several appointments on your first visit, you will be able to gauge from our session yourself if and when you need to come back, but like anything the more you do something the greater benefits.

How will I feel after?
Like visiting the gym for the first time in a long time, there can be soreness after, this all depends on various factors, like if you have consumed alcohol within 24 hours or how hydrated you are.

All aftercare can be found on this website under aftercare protocols.

What should I expect from my first session?
Subjective assessment will be carried out, where I get to know you, make you feel comfortable and find out whats going off with your body.
I will start by finding out what you want to get out of the session and checking range of movement and highlighting any painful areas, before getting you on the bed.
Do you help treat terminal or chronic illness?
I am a huge advocate of treating the cause and not the symptom. Having a rub down might make you feel good temporarily btt I like to get to the cause of the pain. I will always make sure we are not aggravating any underlying health issues.
I would always advice seek medical advice if you are worried about a condition but I can help you on your road to recovery.
How should I prepare for my first treatment?
I recommend comfortable clothes, in the case that they need to be removed that they are easily and able to be put back on .
I will talk through our treatment and what I will perform on you.
